Japan Day 7

omg i'm sorry guys... it has been almost a year already and only now i remembered that i haven't done day 7!! i'm the worst sorry but here it is!!

14 December 2015

It's the last day in Japan!! noooo :(
It has been such a wonderful time here in Japan and I absolutely love this place!
I didn't really do much since it was the last day and we didn't really have anything planned soo..we just went shopping and walking!

Of course I had to go to DAISO in Japan right? You may think that things in daiso (Sg) are really cheap since it is priced at $2 per item but wait till you hear about the cost of products in daiso Japan. Everything in Daiso (Jpn) is priced at 100¥ (=1.24 SGD) !!! How crazy is that ?!?!? after tax and everything, the items are still not above S$2 so of course I got quite a few items ranging from souvenirs for friends and family to makeup products (dodgy i know but they're actually quite good quality).

We also went to TOYSRUS but I didn't get anything there though (since i'm all grown up already jokes) unlike my brother who got himself some really cool stuff. But nothing much really.

After shopping we went to have a walk outside. Since we're in Tokyo, it wasn't as cold as it was in Hokkaido, so i was able to ditch my thick coat and wear something thinner and more comfy.
i swear i wasn't digging my nose hahaha i just got an itch on the OUTSIDE of my nose.

We were in this convenience store (i think it was 7-eleven but i'm not sure) when i saw like a few Porn magazines in the magazine rack and i was quite astonished by how they just openly display R-rated magazines for everyone to see because of course we don't get to see this in Singapore. What was more mind blowing was when i found out that they actually have a whole building dedicated to adult stuff...what even this is so crazy.

Whilst we were walking we saw this rather beautiful tree that looks like an autumn tree (is that even a thing) but nevertheless, PICTURE OPPORTUNITY
my beautiful mom

cute ya

more pics of the tree

and as we head back to our hotel to check out, we got some lunch in the meantime and unlike other days, we got some non-japanese food this time

That's the end of day 7 and one regret that i have was not being able to eat sushi? i get it that there is sushi in Sg but like the sushi her in japan would have definitely tasted so much different right? yah so i was quite upset about it..:(

Anyway that concludes my JAPAN TRAVEL DIARY thingy!! I really really hope y'all liked this and thank you so much for reading my blog ! Again im so so sorry that i have forgotten about this because JC life is so so so stressful ? i feel like there isn't a day where i can actually relax and not feel guilty. But finally i managed to upload this!! I apologize for the lack of posts too because as i've mentioned, life in JC is so busy and nothing in my life is actually very memorable/interesting which also explains the lack of updates.

ANYWAY! I thought of something cool to post about for christmas but im not sure if i want to do it? i'll consider and soon you will find out if i'm actually going to do it!!

Once again thank you so much for sticking with me through my journey!!

Japan Day 6

13 December 2015

Today is Disneyland Day!! oh wait i mean TOKYO DISNEYSEA

To go there, we decided to their Tokyo Metro! (something like our MRT)

We are taking the Yellow line all the way to MAIHAMA station

(it is like super quiet in the train :/ )

Then we change to take the Japan Railway. Just one stop to Disney.

Then we took the Disney Resort Line.

(oh god look at that cute disney handle)

ANDDDD we FINALLY arrived at DISNEYSEA!

Of course here is the map first

First Ride that we took is JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH

When I was in Universal Studios Singapore, I keep complaining about how long the queue is when i had to queue for an hour. GUESS WHAT, an hour isn't that long compared to the 3 hours queue in Japan. Even though we went in when the theme park just opened, the queue is still THREE HOURS LONG. Oh my god. I guess I won't complain so much when in Sg anymore ._.

Worse part, the exciting part was only 3 seconds long
Worst part, I freaking closed my eyes because the cold air blew into my eyes... =,=
ANNOYED MUCH

Then we took this SINDBAD'S STORYBOOK VOYAGE
(sorry for the blur pics, the boat thing is moving)

After the ride, we went to walk around and of course took a lot of photos.

Since we were hungry, we decided to settle down for a meal. Oh god the queue for food is equally long! ._.
I decided to have some fried rice and pudding, then we shared some beef, chicken and spring rolls.

And OMG look at the pudding!!

After our lunch, we queued for about 2 hours for the RAGING SPIRITS ride.

After the ride, we went for a walk again and had some ice-cream!
Their designs are like fabulous.
Tiramisu Ice Cream Ice Bar

Sea Salt Ice Cream Monaka

Mickey Ice Bar (Tropical Fruit)

Minnie Ice Bar (Peach & Raspberry)

More pics!

After walking around, we went for our last ride. Since we used our 'express pass', we were given a timing to come back for the ride.
IDIANA JONES ADVENTURE here we come!!

When we were done with the ride, we stood on a bridge to catch the fireworks. Fireworks standards in Japan are so much higher than in Singapore. There there, I'm going to prove myself.

see what I mean? They even made fireworks in the shape of mickey head as well as a heart shape!!

Sigh the day was soon over. I guess the theme park didn't really hit my expectations because DisneySea is a theme park that is catered to young kids. Children of age 8 are already allowed to take the rides. Since the rides are catered to young kids, the rides are not as fast or as thrilling as i would like them to be. Also, because of the long queue, I've only managed to take 4 rides :(

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself there! One thing I absolutely love about Disneysea as compared to Universal Studios Singapore? In Japan Theme Parks, the rides still continue despite of rain, while in Singapore, rides cannot continue because of lightning. Also, since it was pretty chilly throughout the day in Japan, I don't get frustrated easily, unlike in Singapore where I have to constantly wipe my perspiration.

OMG and take a look at their soap!! Mickey shaped! Awesome!

That's all for Day 6 of Japan Trip!! Are you guys enjoying the 5 days that i wrote?? Hope you guys do! Thank you guys so much for reading up to here! Have an amazing day ahead! :D

Love You Lots,
Zoe :)
