At about 8am, we are off to one of the small mountains to have a go at the Snow Mobile!!
Here are some of the pics I took while we are on the way:
So snow mobile. Well I was really excited to ride it at first and thus I made the courageous decision to sit at the front to drive the vehicle. Heck I totally regretted it. Gosh. It was so STRESSFULLLLLL. Since I'm driving my mother too, I had to carry the extra responsibility of my Mom's safety.
Reasons why I absolutely regretted volunteering to drive:
1. The vehicle was very hard to control.
2. It requires a lot of strength to turn the vehicle
3. We are driving near the edge and if I did not turn properly, we could fall off the edge
4. I was the last one
5. It was very cold and my hands were numb
6. I knocked into someone's vehicle
7. AND I ALMOST DIED.
Yeap, you read 6 and 7 correctly. I knocked into someone and almost fell off the damn cliff and DIE. Well I was driving ok at first (perhaps a little slow. well don't blame me! I was scared!) , and at this part where we have to turn a lot, well, i did a perfect turn. However, the person in front of me was struggling to turn and because of that, I didn't manage to brake in time and BOOM, I knocked into that person. Well, because I knocked into that person, they managed to get the boost and carry on their journey while my vehicle was on the freaking edge, almost dropping down. At that moment my heart was in my mouth and I couldn't breathe properly. I THOUGHT THAT WE WERE GOING TO DIE!!! Oh god, I will never ever want to do that ever again. *winces at the thought*
(well look at my legs. Jelly. Can't even stand straight. Don't even know how i managed to smile. And as you can see, we are VERY near the edge.)
*While we were on the bus, heading away from the place that almost took my life, we saw SNOW!! It's the first and only time in my whole trip that is snowed. Before I went to hokkaido, it snowed so much but when I'm there, the temperature wasn't low enough for snow. Sigh pie but at least we were lucky enough to see some snow!

(It's not so obvious here since i took it from the bus) *
After I almost died, We headed to Otaru Canal, a city port in Northwest of Sapporo, in Hokkaido.

After I almost died, We headed to Otaru Canal, a city port in Northwest of Sapporo, in Hokkaido.
The temperature when we were there was 6.5°C. It was raining and very windy thus we felt that it is so much colder than the first 3 days when in fact the first 3 days have a much lower temperature.
Next we went to have some lunch:
Barbecued Mackerel
We had half a bbq-ed mackerel, 2 scallops and clams miso soup. All seafood.
Well, being someone who absolutely hate eating fish, I am quite proud that I managed to finish the Mackerel. And this simply means that the mackerel is absolutely delicious.
The view outside the food house
Then we had a short drive to the streets area, where we can do some shopping.
A picture with our tour guide !
Just a picture of the place
We walked past the KITAICHI GLASS MUSEUM, where everything is made of glass.
After some walking, we arrived at the OTARU ORGEL DOH (music box museum)
The music boxes there are so beautiful and cute!!
After visiting OTARU ORGEL DOH, we went to a cafe called LETAO where they are famous for their cheesecake .
The place felt so cozy and warm, they even had a "fire place"
Their cheesecake!
After about a 30 minutes drive, we set foot in the SHIROI KOIBITO PARK aka ISHIYA CHOCOLATE FACTORY aka 白色恋人 park
We then went to small little street to do some shopping!
Thennn, Off to ODORI PARK to see the SAPPORO TV TOWER!!
DINNNEERR TIMEEE!!
Yay BBQ for dinner!!
Finally it was time to go back to the hotel and here it is, my hotel room for the night!
This is probably the most luxurious room we had throughout this whole Japan Trip. They had really nice bathroom too, but I forgot to take a photo.. :(
