To be very honest, I admit that I, myself am indeed a judgmental person. But not in a way where i criticise other's backgrounds etc. To me, I think that mocking someone's appearance is so so much better than criticising other's backgrounds. I mean, one can change their appearance for the better, but a criticism to their background? It is an insult to the person's family and feelings.
Well, although mocking other's appearance is not a good thing either, but saying that someone does not have education? That's a little overboard..
People criticising and reprimanding the people who has a tattoo? Seriously? Does having a tattoo mean that you are a thug? (well maybe it was decades ago.. but definitely not now.) Tattoo has been like a "thing" lately and many people are getting tattoos all over their bodies. However to others, they are "known" as gangsters, thugs, drug dealers(?), uneducated, in general BAD PEOPLE.
I mean like seriously? How does having a tattoo make u a bad person? Well, decades ago, thugs, gangsters and bad people do have tattoos but now? Anyone on the streets may have a tattoo somewhere on their bodies (be it a small one or a huge one). Does that make everyone 'bad'?
I really do not understand.. People may be walking past a person and there they go "omg, he/she has a tattoo. His/her parents did not raise her well." WOW like seriously WOW. How does having a tattoo mean your parents did not raise you well? There are so many Fake Tattoos that are now out in the market and anyone can have one stuck to their hands and now they become uneducated? Maybe an actor who is acting the role of a gangster and has a tattoo drawn on, now he's a bad guy too.
Gosh. What is wrong with the society? Fine then people are going to say "well, you chose to have that tattoo, whether it's fake or not. Then you have to be able to face the consequences." Well fine, who cares about people talking bad about them. But, seriously, people should learn to keep their opinions to themselves. Who knows, a man walking around in tattoos may be a kind soul who donates money every year to charity. But BAM. Just a single comment made by the person walking by can tarnish his/her reputation.
To those who criticises people with tattoos, this is for you. Get a life and stop living under the rock. Take a look at the world now. Look around and you will see many people getting tattoos and they are not necessarily bad people. Some may get a tattoo just because they were fond of it and some may have done so for their lovers. Some may have fake ones done for whatever reason they have and some just out of pure curiosity. Who knows what they are thinking. But just because you don't like them doesn't mean others can't have them.
Okay, this has been a really long post and I'm not trying to say that I'm a very kind person who doesn't judge others. I'm not. In fact, I'm guilty of judging others just not in a "oh her parents didn't raise her well" type of way. I just want to bring light and awareness and probably say what others have to say and what I would like to say to people who judge a person based on the little things they have on their body.
(haters probably say i'm a hypocrite because i judge but whatever.)
