I had the best and the most awesome birthday I'd ever had. A birthday that I would never have wished for. Although my birthday was forgotten by some, it doesn't matter anymore because those who cared have already made up for it. ❤️

So, my friends (Rachel, Michelle, Li Xian) and I went to watch a movie <Before I go to sleep>. On my way to meeting them, a bunch of cca mates saw me and gave me this mega balloon which i fretted upon how to bring it into the cinema.

After the movie, headed to our final destination. Downtown East Chalet. Meanwhile, a few selfies while waiting for a cab.

When i reached the chalet, we went for a walk and when we came back to the room, I got bashed by whipped cream which left my body stinky even after a bath. Ewww. This also explains the ugly pants that i'm wearing (which belongs to a guy bcos none of the females brought extra shorts).

After taking a shower, we settled for some horror movies while the boys went to set up the BBQ pit. HAHA. Main roles, boys: BBQ, girls: EAT. 

After everyone was done eating, we played true or dare and we all had a great laugh. Then it was time to go and so we cut the cake and i made a wish.

Although the celebration was preeetyy simple, i had a really great time as i truly felt the utmost sincerity and love of the people. Despite the frustrations I had for little things, the made it up by giving me a time of my life. I had an awesome birthday. A birthday that I would never dream of. A birthday that made me realise the people who cared for me ad the people who deserved me. I love it and i wish this day can replay all over again. With much love, I want to thank every single one of you who made effort to just wish me a "happy birthday", made effort to send me long messages and of course those who even made effort to celebrate my birthday for me. I would never forget this day and may this day last in your memories too.

End Of Mid Year Exams!

YAY! So, last thursday, 15 of May, I had my last paper! It was finally the end of torture and i finally get to relax! After paper, my friends and I went out to ktv and to eat dinner at Nex in Serangoon! I was asked to wear skirt or a dress by my friends! So i wore a skirt!

I didn't take a picture of my food but yeaaa, I had japanese food.(cha soba, chicken karage, and chawanmushi) And it costed only like $11!? Hahah it is actually because my friend work in that restaurant so yeahh 30% off! And i had set meal so definitely cheaper than alacart! Yay!

The day ended pretty soon but it was a fun and enjoyable way to end of exams! We are never to old for parties!

Today is Mother's Day.
I want to take this opportunity to thank my beloved mother for all the things that she have done for me.
So much that she have done but so little complaints.
Although you nag and scold me a lot, I still believe that you do it because you love me.
All the nagging, all the scolding. Nevertheless, they are all for my own good, isn't it?
So, I want to express my gratitude towards you for bringing me to this world and giving me never ending love.
Doing things for me without asking for anything in return.
Today is a special day for all mother's on earth.
The person who endured countless pains just to bring us to this world.
The person who went through endless sufferings because of us.
The person who love us for who we are.

[so err i am going to skip my Thailand trip post because I have dragged too long and i've already forgotten what i've done there. So yea, i'm gonna skip that post. Oopsie dasie! Promises were meant to be broken right? It's a pity though, I've took a lot of pictures and i actually cannot wait to post it. butttt.. yea, i've forgotten the events. :( So this June i will be going to Sarawak for overseas learning journey with my school, so i will try see if i am able to post something about that trip :) ]

Tired

Have you ever had this feeling, that you are all alone, even when you are in a place full of people?

Well, I did..and it certainly didn't feel good.

The feeling that no one cares, that no one even bothers about you..

The feeling of loneliness.

The feeling of having a thousand of people, but not one is true to you.

The feeling of insecurities.

The feeling that everyone dislikes you.

Is it just a self esteem issue?

Or is it something beyond that.

Well, that's something me myself wants to know.

Isn't it tiring to put on a smile and act like you're okay?

Isn't it tiring to pretend that you are always happy?

Isn't it exhausting to laugh and smile all day?

Isn't it exhausting to make sure everyone thinks that you're just nappy?

Isn't it boring to keep saying that you're fine

Isn't it boring to use tired as an excuse?

Well, I'm seriously tired. Not an excuse, but a true reason.

Tired of being alone,

Tired of trying so hard but to end up with nothing.

Tired of acting and pretending that it's okay.

Cross country 2014

HELLOOO IT HAVE BEEN SO LONGGG SINCE I LAST BLOGGED!!

I'm so so sorrryyy!! I've been too busy lately because of sec 3 life.. Damnn. There isnt a day that i'm completely free. So yeahh, finally squeezed in some time to post thiss!☺️

So last month, on the 25th of March, I took part in the National Schools Cross Country competition held at Bedok reservoir. 

We were supposed to meet in school before 7am so we can make our way there before the start of the competition. 

When we arrived there, the atmosphere was so tense. I was quite nervous and i believe that some of my friends are too. We got ready by doing some stretches and did a warm up run. 

In no time, the race started. I ran with all my might and disregard all the pain that i felt except at one point i couldn't breath properly so i slowed downn. That was one of my regrets i had for that run but i think it's okay as i've already did the best i could do at that point of time. I came in with a timing of 20 minutes and 32 seconds for a distant of about 3.6km. Although it isn't a very good timing compared to all the other competitors, i was still proud of myself. I came in 159th position out of 200 plus people but i think that the others did a relatively good job and they deserved their positions. I believe that every competitor did their best for this competition. Trainings for quite a few times per week, pains, aches, everything. But they overcame the pain and achings and ran their best. Im proud of all the competitors as well as i am for myself. I hope to achieve better in the near future as i strive for excellence.
