Nowadays, makeup has been really crucial in the lives of most girls. Of course, I also do use makeup. So today I will be giving you girls (and guys maybe) the products that I personally love and use.
Lets get started!!
First of all, I want to show you this cute little Elmo bag that I bought in Thailand. Teehhee I'm using this as my Main make up bag!
On to my actual make up products.
BASE
Some of the products I use for my base are:
~ Silky Girl Magic BB White Cream [02 Radiant]
OR
~ Maybelline White Super Fresh 2 way cake foundation
The difference between the BB cream and the 2 way cake foundation is that the BB cream gives my face a radiant glow while the 2 way cake foundation gives a matt finish. Anyway I love both and I like to alternate between the two.
To add more dimension to my face, I am currently using the V-Shape Contour Powder by Cyber Colors. The brown powder is use to contour and bronze up my face while the white(?) powder is used as a highlighter to give my face a healthy glow.
Thumbs up for multi-functional products :B
Moving on to Eyebrowsss!
Here are some of the products I use for my eyebrows:
~ Arezia eyebrow powder
~ Silky Girl Precision Brow Liner [02 Dark Brown]
~ Eyebrow brush from Etude House [brush 351]
~ Eyebrow screw from Etude House [brush 352]
Some times I like to use the powder for a softer and more natural finish and sometimes I choose to use the brown pencil to give it a more definite shape.
Next next, EYES !
Something I find really stressful to manage (am I the only one?? idk).
For Eyeliner, I usually use a pencil liner to tight line my eyes then use a liquid eyeliner to fill in my lash line, just to make my eyes look more defined and my lashes much more voluminous.
Pencil Liner:
~ Play 101 Pencil from Etude House
Liquid Liner:
~ Maybelline Hypersharp Liner
For my eyelashes, I curl them first then apply mascara.
As an Asian, I have very short and straight lashes. So, in order to rectify the problem, I use Maybelline Hypercurl Volum' Express mascara to add more volume and length to my lashes to make my eyes appear larger. For the eyelash curler, the one that I'm using is from Etude House.
Also, because I am not blessed with double eyelids I like to create them by using an eyelid glue by Eye Putti. I have personally never heard of this brand before but since the lady at SASA recommended this to me, I decided to gave it a try. So far it has been doing great!
Another alternative would be to use an eyelid sticker which I have also been using but I find that pasting eyelid stickers are way too much effort so I decided to try out an eyelid glue instead. Teehee I'm all about trying something new.
LIPS (muuaackkss )
I have quite a few lipsticks and all of them are of different colours and they are often of different types. There are some that are matt, some are gloss, some are creamy while some are just like normal.
The lipsticks/lipgloss that I have been using are
~ Dear My Wish Lips Talk from Etude House [OR201]
~ Color Lips Fit from Etude House [BE101]
~ Maybelline Rebel Bouquet [REB06]
~ Silky Girl Moisture Boost [01 Latte]
~ Victoria's Secret Lip Gloss [Strawberry Fizz]
Before applying any lipstick, I like to apply some lip balm first.
The one I usually use is Born Lippy from The Body Shop in Rasberry.
CHEEKS!!
As for my cheeks, I often use my lipstick as a blusher.
The one that I use most of the time is Dear My Wish Lips Talk [OR201] from Etude House.
Just apply some of the lipstick onto your wrists or the back of your hand, then use a brush to apply a tiny bit onto your cheeks. The brush that I always use is a stippling brush -- Secret Brush [160] Duo Fiber from Etude House.
When you have multi-functional products, you can reduce the load in your makeup bag! *whoops*
BRUSHES
Well, well, how can I finish the blog post without sharing with you the brushes that I use!
Apart from all the brushes that have already been mentioned above, I have another set of brushes that I use for other purposes.
I bought this set of brushes online for only about S$10? Pretty Good Deal yeah? But well, I definitely doubt the authenticity of this set of brushes because you know, how can you even buy a set of brushes (there are 7 brushes and it also comes with a really cute box) from 3 Concept Eyes for only S$10?? However, to be fair, they aren't that bad as well. Of course they aren't the best but at least they are usable right? So here is the set of brushes that I got!
Next I'm going to show you the other brushes/sponge that I also have and use.
~ Secret Brush [160] Duo Fiber from Etude House
~ Laneige Air Cushion
~ Cyber Colors Contour Brush
OKAYYY, so that's all from me today ! Hope you enjoyed reading about some of the makeup products / essentials that I have with me in my make up bag!
